What types of coupons does Publix accept?
Publix accepts manufacturer’s coupons, Publix store coupons (including digital), valid internet-printed coupons, and coupons from nearby competitors (check the list at your store’s customer service desk).
How many coupons can I use per item?
Maximum of two coupons per item: one manufacturer’s coupon and either one Publix coupon or one competitor coupon (not both Publix and competitor on the same item).
How many identical coupons can I use per day/household?
Limited to eight identical coupons per day, per household (regardless of flavors or varieties), unless the coupon states a lower limit.
Can I use coupons on BOGO items?
Yes, each item in a BOGO offer is a separate purchase, so you can use up to two coupons on each (including the free one).
Does Publix accept percent-off coupons or mobile phone coupons?
No to both: Percent-off coupons are not accepted, and coupons must be originals (not photocopied or shown on mobile devices, except clipped digital via phone number).
What if coupons result in overage (money back)?
Overage is provided only on a Publix gift card.
Return & Refund Policy FAQs
What is the Publix Guarantee?
If your purchase doesn’t give complete satisfaction, the full price is cheerfully refunded immediately upon request. This applies to most items.
Do I need a receipt to return items?
Receipt preferred, but returns are accepted without one if we can verify in our system (e.g., via Club Publix account or ID). Without receipt, refund may be store credit or current price.
What is the return window?
No strict time limit, but within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30 days). Perishables like meat or produce should be returned soon after purchase.
Can I return alcohol, tobacco, or lottery items?
Alcohol returns vary by state (e.g., not allowed in GA or NC). Tobacco and lottery are generally not returnable.
How do I return online or delivered items?
Bring to any Publix store with receipt. For Instacart deliveries, contact Instacart support first, then return in-store if needed.
Delivery & Curbside Pickup FAQs
What are the fees for delivery and curbside pickup?
Delivery: $3.99–$9.99 based on order size/location, plus service fee and tip. Curbside: $1.99 pickup fee (first order free). Prices are higher than in-store.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay. No Publix gift cards or prepaid cards. HSA/FSA for prescriptions only (not fees).
How do I cancel a delivery or pickup order?
Via app/site if not yet shopped. For in-store pickup (e.g., subs), call store: subs >2 hours before, platters/cakes 24 hours before.
Can I add prescriptions to delivery?
Yes, $2 fee if added to grocery order ($10.99 alone). Prepay via pharmacy app, then schedule via Instacart.
What items are available for delivery/curbside?
Almost all in-store items, but alcohol, tobacco, and some perishables may have restrictions. Liquor orders can’t combine with groceries.
